Vectrod ("we", "our", "us") operates the website located at vectrod.com. Vectrod is a free online tool for converting SVG files to fonts (TTF/OTF), converting images to SVG, and downloading free open-source fonts.

02 Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to provide our service:
- Files you upload: SVG files, images (PNG/JPG/WEBP) uploaded for conversion. These are stored temporarily in a session folder and automatically deleted after your session ends (within 24 hours).
- Usage data: Via Google Analytics 4, we collect anonymized data including pages visited, time on site, browser type, device type, and general geographic region (country/city level). IP addresses are anonymized.
- Local storage: We use your browser's local storage to save font gallery preferences and favorites. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
03 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not require account registration or email addresses
- We do not collect payment information (Vectrod is free)
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing
- We do not store your uploaded files permanently — all files are auto-deleted
- We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes
04 How We Use Your Information
- Uploaded files: Used solely to perform the conversion you requested (SVG→Font or Image→SVG). Files are deleted automatically after session completion.
- Analytics data: Used to understand how visitors use Vectrod so we can improve the service. Data is aggregated and anonymized.
05 Cookies & Tracking
Vectrod uses the following cookies and tracking technologies:
- Google Analytics (GA4): Anonymized analytics to track page views, sessions, and user behavior. You can opt out via Google Analytics Opt-out.
- Local Storage: Browser-side storage for your font favorites and preferences. Not a cookie — data never leaves your device.
We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or third-party tracking scripts beyond Google Analytics.

- Uploaded files: Automatically deleted within 24 hours of upload, or immediately when your session ends.
- Analytics data: Retained by Google Analytics for 14 months (GA4 default), then automatically deleted.
- Local storage data: Stored indefinitely on your device until you clear your browser data.
08 Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Right to access: Request information about data we hold about you
- Right to deletion: Request deletion of your data (note: since we don't store personal accounts, most data is already auto-deleted)
- Right to opt-out: Opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the GA Opt-out Browser Add-on
- GDPR (EU users): You have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation
- CCPA (California users): You have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act

09 Children's Privacy
Vectrod is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Vectrod after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
