Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Vectrod. By using our platform, you agree to the following terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Vectrod ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
2. Description of Service
Vectrod is an online platform that provides font creation, editing, conversion, and design tools including but not limited to: Glyph Studio, SVG Converter, Font Editor, Font Blending, Eco-Type, and Live Preview. The Service is currently in beta and is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.
3. User Accounts
You may create an account using your email address or a third-party provider (Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Intellectual Property — Your Content
You retain full ownership of all font designs, glyphs, and creative work you produce using the Service. Vectrod claims no ownership over your original designs. By saving projects to our servers, you grant Vectrod a limited, non-exclusive license solely to store and display your content for the purpose of providing the Service to you. You may delete your projects at any time, which will remove them from our servers.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) upload or create content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or compromise the platform's security; (c) use automated scripts or bots to access the Service without prior written consent; (d) distribute malicious code; (e) impersonate other users or entities; (f) violate any applicable local, national, or international laws.
6. Beta Service & Limitations
The Service is currently in beta. Free accounts may be subject to a project save limit (currently 1 saved project). Features marked "Coming Soon" are not yet available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service during the beta period. Data loss, though unlikely, is possible. We recommend keeping local copies of important projects.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers including Google (authentication) and Supabase (database and storage). Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vectrod and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, during the free beta, is zero).
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vectrod operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
12. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
